The following article sets up the foundation of religious movement through church history, and illustrates the necessity of Christ’s appearance in this world as the Spirit of Truth.

The definition of Reformation is as follows: “An amendment of what is defective, vicious, corrupt, or depraved; reformation of government; Religious Reformation.”

The initial act of reformation is an attempt to make something imperfect, perfect, or, to complete something which is lacking.

The movement of Reforming the Church started with Martin Luther who protested the religious corruption of the churches at that time.  He established the Protestant Luthern Church.  This church continued for several decades.  However, even to his followers, his church and teachings were not yet perfect.  Thus the Protestant Church was reformed again by those who sincerely saught to establish a church which practiced and taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ recorded in the New Testament.  However, it is necessary to understand that with every reformation, there is an inherent acceptance that the previous way of practice is defective and must be changed in order to obtain salvation.  Then how long with the church be reformed until there is a complete and perfect will, until the truth of the Gospel will be established again?

Heb 9:28- This work of salvation can only be done by Christ Himself.  The purpose of His second coming is to bring to light the Gospel of salvation and to restore all the teachings of truth which were lost during the dark periods of Roman rule. ref (Rev 14:6; John 14:26).  No matter how many times men reform something defective, in the end it will still remain defective.  Without Christ Himself coming to teach us what is correct, how will we ever know the way of salvation?

Christ Ahnsahnghong (Rev 2:17) has given us the truth of the Passover of the New Covenant which leads to eternal life (Matt 26:17; Luke 22:14-20; John 6:53).  Today, no one has ever taught the Passover New Covenant except Christ Ahnsahnghong.  In addition to this truth, He established the Feasts of God which contain prophetical meaning leading us to God’s work of administration of salvation throughout 6,000 years, thus revealing God’s true image as Elohim.  An understanding of all 66 books of the Bible is an essential part of our salvation, no one can open the scroll except Christ Ahnsahnghong, who is David our King.
