Not only the New Testament

As Christians we need to know all of the Holy Scriptures for our salvation. The Old Testament is a shadow of what would take place through the coming of Christ. (Hebrews 10:1). If we have a clear understanding of the shadow, then the reality is even clearer. If we don’t know the Old Testament then we don’t know Christ. (Luke 24:44). How then can people teach that all we need is the New Testament? Do they know Christ? We have to understand all scripture. The prophecies written in them are for our salvation. Christ is the fulfillment of all the scripture both at his first and second coming. If we only know part of the scriptures, we will never be able to know God. Second coming Christ came, and showed us the importance of knowing the Bible in its entirety. We can have a full knowledge of God when we understand why Christ came as Jesus Christ, and why he came again as Christ Ahnsahnghong. God loves us and wants everyone to receive salvation. We should not neglect a single one of God’s words.

Jesus Christ came to the earth to show the people the way to life. During his three years of preaching the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven he revealed the will of God through various parables. (Matthew 13:34-35). Every parable Christ spoke has a hidden meaning. People often wonder why Christ spoke this way, and at that time Christ’s disciples asked him that very question. (Matthew 13:10-11). Jesus spoke in parables to protect the children of God. The truth leads to salvation, and if its destorted in any way than no one can find their way to heaven. Although Christ spoke to the crowd in parables, he spoke plainly to the disciples when he was alone with them. (Mark 5:33-34). Anyone can read the parables that Jesus spoke, but only his disciples will be able to understand the meaning behind them. For instance, one of the most famous parables Jesus spoke was the parable of the Good Samaritan. (Luke 10:25-36). It seems like Christ is saying that to be a Christian we should help those in need by giving them food and shelter. Is that the hidden meaning Christ wanted to reveal? We have to think about these things deeply. Christ was only concerned with the salvation of souls. Then, what was Christ really saying in the parable? Those who are not followers of Christ can never understand what they are reading.  As a result they interpret the Bible, and today countless religions have begun around the world. We don’t need man’s interpretation, we need God’s interpretation. Christ came to this earth a second time revealing the truth to his disciples. Those who want to become disciples of Christ should come to the Church of God World Mission Society and learn the teachings of Christ Ahnsahnghohng, our savior and true God.

Those who teach heresy, and those who teach truth

When the truth is proclaimed in the world, the world is always against it. The truth is from God, and lies come from Satan. The world hates the Word of God, because this world is controlled by Satan. (1 John 5:19). When Jesus Christ came to this earth, the world hated him because he spoke the truth. The world hated the saints of the early church because they spoke the truth. The world hates us because we speak the truth. People speak against us saying that our teachings are heresy. Let’s see if our teachings are heresy or not by examining the Bible.
What does the Bible say about heresy? (2 Peter 2:1-3). Heresies are made up stories used to deceive the people into believing teachings contrary to the teachings of Christ. The people listen to these false prophets thinking they are following the way of Christ, because they tell them exactly what their itching ears want to hear. (1 John 4:5). They twist the scriptures to their own advantage and preach gospels other than the gospel of Christ. All the while they convince the people they are following Christ while leading them to hell. (1 Corinthians 11:13-15). What do you think will be the result for them? (Galatians 1:6-9). They can expect nothing but the eternal fire of hell for all eternity. Christ never taught Sunday worship, eucharist/communion, Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, idol worship, cross reverence, etc. All other churches follow man’s teachings, having no biblical basis for such teachings. Do you think we should follow man’s philosophy? (Colossians 2:8). Those who keep the traditions of man will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven according to the Bible. Christ taught Sabbath, Passover, Feasts of God, obedience, etc. Only the Church of God World Mission Society keeps the commands of God. It is the only true church in the world, because it was established by the Spirit of Truth, Christ Ahnsahnghong.

Importance of knowing God

If we believe there is a God but don’t truly know him, can we receive eternal life? What did Jesus Christ say when he came 2000 years ago? (John 17:3). Believing in God does not mean we can receive eternal life. Therefore, we should make every effort to know God in our lifetime. In Hosea it is written: “Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him” and “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.”  Then, how can we know God? (1 John 2:3). God’s commands lead us to the knowledge of God. If we don’t keep them, then God will never reveal Himself to us. Then, what are God’s commands? Some may say helping the poor, volunteering, etc. are God’s commands. Of course God wants us to do those things, but even non-Christians do these good deeds. Can we really say that those are the commands that lead us to the knowledge of God? In the Old Testament God established a covenant on Mount Sinai. God gave the Israelites commands and the feasts to be kept in adherence to that covenant. So to in the New Testament God established a New Covenant through which we are able to keep his commands and the feasts in adherence to that covenant. Through the Feasts of the New Covenant we are able to keep the commands of God, reconciling us to Christ, and we are able to come to a full knowledge of God. If we do not keep the Feasts of God, then we disobey the commands of Christ, and can not be the ones to say that we know God. (1 John 2:4-6). This is a very serious matter, for to know God is eternal life. What is the end result for those who do not know God? (2 Thessalonians 1:8). It is for this reason that we thank our Father Christ Ahnsahnghong, who came a second time to this earth so that we could come to a full knowledge of God. If he had not come, then our result would have been the same as those who claim to know him but never obey what he commands.

Is there more than one Jesus in the Bible?

There is only one Jesus Christ that is found in the Bible. However, there are a countless number of Jesus’ in the minds of those who claim to believe in him. It is for this reason so many different denominations of Christianity exist. Most Christians believe in a Jesus that is to their own liking because it justifies a life lived in accordance to their own will. True Christians must follow the true Jesus in the Bible, living in accordance to God’s will. Apostle Paul spoke about this in his letter to the Church of God in Corinth. (1 Corinthians 11:3-4). Paul makes mention of those who preach a Jesus and those who preach the Jesus. What is the difference? “The Jesus” is in the Bible, and “A Jesus” is not in the Bible. “The Jesus” gave us the New Covenant Feasts of God in the Order of Melchizedek, and “A Jesus” is any other Jesus that man has created. Which Jesus can save us on the Day of Judgment? We must make every effort to know the Jesus that’s in the Bible if we want to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. At the Church of God World Mission Society we preach “The Jesus” with clear understanding. It is clear because Christ Ahnsahnghong came in these last days, and restored the New Covenant Feasts of God in the Order of Melchizedek. If anyone believes in “The Jesus” as they claim, then they will most assuredly believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong.

Biblical Misunderstanings

Most Christians don’t know the Bible, and they often surround their beliefs around a handful of verses. Of those verses, there are two in particular that people quote the most: John 3:16 & Romans 10:9. Both of these verses are true, but let’s take a look at them and understand correctly. As a Christian, it is a given that we must believe that Jesus Christ came to the earth to save sinners. People are taught “Just Believe” based on these two verses, and use it as justification for living their lives however they wish. They say, “Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I believe it. I’m saved.” Do you believe that? Are other verses in the Bible not taken into account because of these two verses? Are all the commands that Christ gave us no longer relevant? Those who truly believe in Christ will obey his teachings. (John 14:15). Sabbath and Passover are the teachings of Christ. If we keep them, we show that we believe in our hearts that Christ is Lord, and can truly confess with our mouth our savior. Sunday worship, communion, prayer before statues, cross reverence, etc. are not the teachings of Christ. If we fail to follow the way of Christ, can we really say that we believe in him? If we don’t obey all the commands that Christ gave us for our salvation, we can not call ourselves the “saved.” The Church of God World Mission Society keeps the commands of Christ. We are able to say we are saved because we know God, and have come to him in the last days. Christ Ahnsahnghong is our Lord and Savior, whoever confesses with their mouth and believes in their heart he is God will have eternal life.

Who wrote the Bible?

People often say that the reason they don’t believe the Bible is because it was written by man and is interpreted by man. Actually, that is a misconception of the people. The disciple Peter explained who wrote the Bible in his second letter. (2 Peter 1:20-21). The Holy Spirit is the one who wrote the Bible, but that Spirit was put into men to write the words of God. The reason that people have lost faith today, and rightly so, is because the churches don’t show the prophecies and there fulfillments. These things are important because they help us grow in our faith in God. Why don’t they teach them? The answer: How can they teach what they don’t know? The result is people stop believing. Still, those who don’t lose faith find it difficult to read the Bible on their own and have a full understanding. Actually, the Bible was never intended to be read from front to back as most people think. The way to understand the Bible is by matching the Bible from verse to verse. There is no one that can do this except the Holy Spirit of God. (Isaiah 34:16). Christ Ahnsahnghong, the Holy Spirit, came to this earth and gathered each verse and showed us the truth of life; He revealed all the prophecies and their fulfillment. If you come to the Church of God World Mission Society, you will see the teachings we follow are no interpretation, and you will know the true God in the Bible.

Did Christ really abolish the Law?

At a young age people are taught that by Christ’s coming, he abolished the Law of the Old Testament. The leaders of churches often use a verse to defend this belief. (Galatians 3:10-11). Without understanding the context, it seems like Apostle Paul is advocating the absence of Law. What did Peter say concerning the things Paul wrote? (2 Peter 3:15-16). Let’s correctly understand what Paul meant when he wrote to the church of God in Galatia.
Paul’s meaning concerning the Law was that we, as imperfect beings, are unable to keep the Law of Moses. If any part of the Law is broken, then the whole Law is broken, and we are to be put to death. It is for this reason Christ came, because through Christ we are able to meet the righteous requirements of the Law. With that understanding, what did Christ say concerning the Law? (Matthew 5:17-18). Christ never abolished the Law and the prophets, he fulfilled them. What does it mean that he fulfilled them? Through his coming he established the New Covenant, or the Law of Christ. Apostle Paul spoke about this Law when writing to the church of God in Corinth. (Corinthians 9:20-21). The writer of Hebrews also spoke about the change of the Law from the Law of Moses to the Law of Christ. (Hebrews 7:12). By keeping Christ’s Law we can be made perfect. Christ showed us through his examples and teachings how to keep the feasts of God according to the New Covenant. For instance, no longer do we bring a lamb to be offered to God at the Passover. Instead, Christ became the Passover Lamb for our salvation. (1 Corinthians 5:7-8). Keeping the New Covenant Passover we become one with Christ. At the Church of God we keep and proclaim this Passover. We follow the teachings of Christ and keep his Law, worshiping in Spirit and truth. We could not have understood these things, however if second coming Christ, Christ Ahnsahnghong did not come again. For this reason, we believe in him and follow him. Christ Ahnsahnghong is our Heavenly Father and true God Almighty, forever praised! Amen.

What is the Love and Grace of God?

Christians of the world want to follow God, but often they do not know what to do. They look to leaders of churches for guidance. When they ask a question, they are told that they should not worry because God is love and God is grace. When they hear this, especially from a leader of a church, people take comfort in it. People accept these answers so readily, but do not stop to think deeply about them. Although true, it is an empty statement. Think about it. What does that even mean? For example, if you were going to have surgery. If you asked the surgeon questions, you would never accept an answer like, “Don’t worry I’m a doctor.” You would want to know about the procedure, you would want to know about the surgeon’s history, etc. In the same way, we should know: What is love? What is grace? You can only answer those questions through the Bible. When Paul wrote to the church of God in Ephesus he let us know the answer to both questions. (Ephesians 1:4-8). In love he predestined us to be sons and we are redeemed through his blood, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. We are able to understand that God’s love and grace for us comes though Christ’s blood, the forgiveness of sins. Christ only gave his blood through the Passover wine, in which we are to take part once every year. (Matthew 26:26-28). God’s love and grace is the promise of eternal life given through the New Covenant Passover. Why do other churches not explain this fact using the Bible? It is because they don’t know. For this reason Second Coming Christ came to this earth once again. Christ Ahnsahnghong showed us his love and grace once again sacrificing everyday to restore the truth of the Passover.

Understanding the Will of God

People who were never taught the Bible often say, “If I’m a good person, then I will be able to enter heaven.” I know this because I was one of them. I always felt that as long as I treated people with respect, didn’t hurt or kill others, helped the poor, and stayed away from drugs then God would be happy. It’s true that God is pleased with these things, but they do not pertain to God’s work of salvation for us. In order to enter heaven we must do the will of God, but if we don’t have a clear understanding of what that means we can not enter. (Matthew 7:21-23).
The reason believers in Christ can not enter heaven is not because they don’t believe in Christ, but because they don’t do His will. Even those who performed miracles, prophesied, and drove out demons were unable to enter because they didn’t do His will. God’s will for us is to obey Him. God wants to lead us to heaven. If we try to take our own way then we can never enter. Jesus spoke about the will of the Father when speaking to the crowd in Capernaum. (John 6:39-40). What does it mean to look to the Son and believe in Him to be raised up at the last day? Christ spoke to that same crowd later concerning this matter. (John 6:53-58). When we eat Christ flesh and blood we are doing the will of God and the one whom he sent. It is the way to have eternal life according to the Bible. The only way to eat and drink his body and blood is by keeping the New Covenant Passover. Even if we do good deeds, we still must do the will of God in obedience to Him. We can not create our own way to receive salvation, but we must follow the One who knows the way. That is why at the Church of God World Mission Society we keep the New Covenant Passover and thank Christ Ahnsahnghong who revealed it to us once again. In keeping Christ’s Passover we are able to keep in step with the will of God.
