Jesus Christ came to the earth to show the people the way to life. During his three years of preaching the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven he revealed the will of God through various parables. (Matthew 13:34-35). Every parable Christ spoke has a hidden meaning. People often wonder why Christ spoke this way, and at that time Christ’s disciples asked him that very question. (Matthew 13:10-11). Jesus spoke in parables to protect the children of God. The truth leads to salvation, and if its destorted in any way than no one can find their way to heaven. Although Christ spoke to the crowd in parables, he spoke plainly to the disciples when he was alone with them. (Mark 5:33-34). Anyone can read the parables that Jesus spoke, but only his disciples will be able to understand the meaning behind them. For instance, one of the most famous parables Jesus spoke was the parable of the Good Samaritan. (Luke 10:25-36). It seems like Christ is saying that to be a Christian we should help those in need by giving them food and shelter. Is that the hidden meaning Christ wanted to reveal? We have to think about these things deeply. Christ was only concerned with the salvation of souls. Then, what was Christ really saying in the parable? Those who are not followers of Christ can never understand what they are reading.  As a result they interpret the Bible, and today countless religions have begun around the world. We don’t need man’s interpretation, we need God’s interpretation. Christ came to this earth a second time revealing the truth to his disciples. Those who want to become disciples of Christ should come to the Church of God World Mission Society and learn the teachings of Christ Ahnsahnghohng, our savior and true God.
