In all societies people gauge what is good and righteous from their own point of view. For instance, someone may have never had a problem with the law or always gives to the poor. In the eyes of the people that individual is so righteous. However, worldly righteousness does not mean godly righteousness. When God looks at this earth he does not see anyone righteous. (Psalms 14:2-3). How can we have godly righteousness? God showed us examples in the Bible through the forefathers of faith. (Hebrews 11:7; Hebrews 11:17). Noah and Abraham were considered righteous in God’s eyes because of their great faith in obedience. It is this faith that allows us to be seen as righteous in God’s sight. (James 2:21-22). What should we do to be seen as righteous? (Romans 1:17). Obeying the gospel according to God’s will is the way to be righteous. When we keep the Passover of the New Covenant we show our faith in God’s words of promise and are considered righteous in God’s eyes. Christ Ahnsahnghong came to this earth so that we can be called the righteous.
